10 mars hi its me again to bore you with my blogHi its me again wet day
 so thought i would have an hour on computer , been buisy this morning house work my linen cupboard was past the date for cleaning didnt realise how much linen i have that i dont use so it will be a trip to the charity shop for me this week, I want to do some decorating before the summer comes going to paint my kitchen , i like do do what i can in the house so i can spend more time in the garden when the weather is nice .
Had a lovely weekend with my granddaughter she spends the weekends with me , we are trying to decide where we will go on holiday this year , she wants to go to butlins ? for the spring holiday
 i told her i will think about it ,we went there last year and had a great time but it is not a relaxing holiday for me oh well maby i will go with her she is at an age now for that sort of thing.  been invited to a 65th birthday party next week got to shop for a present never know what to buy a man so i think maby i will play safe and get a gift voucher , i know he likes D.V.Ds so yes a gift voucher and he can choose his own films,  I am very proud of myself ,[ i have given up smoking ] i started to smoke again after my husband died , i joined the national health no smoking and have finaly done it , my cat layla would not come to sit on my lap when i had a fag , so she is happy now , i hate leavng her in a cattery when i go on holiday but i will have to think about booking a place for her soon if i am going to butlins ha ha . i would rather go to majorca never mind i am sure we will have a good time . maby later in the year i can plan something in the sun must go and sort something out for dinner now dont know what to have today. 14 février shirley,s space I love to travel been on some lovely holidays, west indies, sweden, canada ,spain, etc, my favourite was to see niagra falls in canada. i also enjoy holidays in u.k. but i love the sun .  my hobbies are driving i love to drive out to country places , park the car and go for long country walks, i also enloy making things , sewing , drawing , growing vegetables,and flowers in the garden , i am just learning how to use the computer , lots to learn yet my 11 year old granddaughter has been teaching me how to use it , ha,ha,
I love eating out
 steak and chips with salad mmmmmmmm i could eat that every day , going out for sunday lunch , you cant beat that .with a glass of wine or two only problem is that i dont drink and drive . so have to get someone else to drive or take a taxi . I dont read a lot of books, did all that when i did my nurse training , that was a lot of reading and study now i am retired so just read when in the mood , have lots of other things to do that take up my time , i will read a news paper about twice a week dont need to see the news in papers as you get it all on tv.
 I enjoy a good film and go to the cinema once a month , the last film i saw was st trinians last week , I didnt think it was very good maby because i remember the original film and original actors . i like wild life films and true stories , i like all sorts of music but my favourite is pavaroti , i loved Mario Lanza lot of people say who was he ? .
sport is not for me i like football cup finals but that is about all , when my husband was alive he loved cricket i think that is the most boring sport there is , i must say that i do enjoy swimming but dont go enough to the swimming baths that i would like to , i must make more effort to go more often .
 time for me to go will come back and write a little more later. |
